Wonderings of the Creative mind

Mmmmm yes I see myself once again wanting to start off a post with a referral to what date and time it is.

YES it is 07:31 in the morning, and no I dont have much to do today. Except drop a CV off at this shop in Springfield, so I can work with animals. Oh yeah, and maybe that cute girl that feeds the birds may be a motivation too. Maybe not...

Anyway so, LONG TIME NO SEE!

Yes, I have been around consistently inconsistent at posting entries, HOWEVER, that is all about to change right now with this post. Welcome to Life!

One day it might be this big ass storm cloud on the horizon, next it'll be clear skies for dayyyyyys on end.
This is how I'm running this blog right now. Like changing clouds. Yeshhh. So, whats the weather like your side?

I'd like to share some musings of the mind that I had a few days ago. I was up at an unearthly hour of 4am after not being able to fall asleep, and so I decided to rummage around, devour a can of pear halves (mmmm!) and, well, play some Sudoku. Yes I'm very much liking Sudoku these days. An odd, difficult game here and there.

It puts things into perspective. Yes, because as I see some patterns in the puzzle, I see the same patterns applying in our day to day lives, too. There's no separation in life of course. Everything in life IS life, of which there is nothing else...So yeah, separation? It's an illusion. Yes yes, it definitely feels real, especially if you believe that you are your physical body.. what? Anyway.

So yeah, I'm playing Sudoku right, at 4am in the morning (I just had to say it like that), and I'm like.. Well, if that candidate is there, then that one CANT be there! YES! Ok, so, then it carries on like that until I'm nearing the completion and *&%$! Conflicting numbers!! darn..

I put down the iPad (or Sudoku puzzle, however you look at it), go attempt to sleep in my bed again and while I'm lying awake from an added logical stimuli, I come up with these questions that I'm going to share with you.

What is the difference between..

I believe I am amazing.

and

I am amazing.

What is the difference between those two ?
This is what I came up with..

The first is a belief.
The second is a state of being.

Or specifically, the first is announcing and declaring a belief. The second is announcing and declaring a state of being.

So I went on to ask: Does a state of being require a belief for it to exist?

No.

Ok then I asked: Does belief create a state of being ?

No was my answer. However, beliefs create behaviours!

How one behaves is a direct demonstration of the beliefs about Life and God that one holds. And beliefs, I mused, are governed by the mind. 'I am amazing' or sad or happy or ecstatic, as a state of being, is not dictated by the beliefs held, although it may create a new set beliefs through experience and observation! Anyway!

Belief AND the a state of being, I further mused, is chosen with the mind, in conjunction (hopefully!) with the Soul and the heart.

Right, I then ended the process with a question, What is doubt? and then fell asleep soon after. lol.

What it boils down to, is that we all have a choice. With everything. E.V.E.R.Y.thing! Everything that you experience is a result of a choice. More often than not, it is an unconscious choice. Yes, you probably not did consciously chose to get bitten by a dog. But if you didn't, at some level of existence, want it to happen, it wouldn't have! The event and experience would have been replaced by something else that was chosen in its place.

No, you are not a victim of life and your circumstances. Life is happening through you, in you, AS you.

Don't you feel like God now ?

Don't you feel like a creator?

Or do you feel created ?

Guess what? There is no separation between the creator and the created. Boom.

If you create a feeling of happiness, are you separate from that feeling?
Noooo, you are definitely at one with it.

But what happens when you (we) create something you (we) DON'T like ?

We generally separate ourselves from it. We resist it. And boy does it persist. Boy it sure does not go away. And so we suffer! Eish, too much suffaring going on here. (In my best South African accent - one of the 11 we have here).

Anyway, we don't want all that is unwanted to come up now, do we? :D So let's move on, with a goodbye.

It's time to go buy some catfood. Kitties are starving.

OK LAST PROPOSAL!

I will pay up to R500 (equivalent of +- $60) for ONE razor blade that does NOT go blunt due to shaving.

Seriously, don't give me bullshit and say we do not have the technology today to create such a thing. It's Gillette and all these BS companies that continually feed off of us and our incomes to keep themselves rich, leaving everyone else with 'less than'.
COME ON! Go eat a freakin' banana, you scum sucking profiteers! Grrrr!!

Ok peace out!
